Iona is full of paradoxes. On a Summer's afternoon it can swarm with visitors while in the evening the island breathes out and relaxes.

The north end is never particularly busy and the people who venture to the end of the road seem to vanish into the landscape.

The hostel offers quiet sanctuary for those who seek it while also being in reach of island activities. Rocks for quiet contemplation abound and for when you're ready to rejoin the world, check out the community website (www.isle-of-iona.com) for things to see and do.
