The Sea Room is a large and comfortable apartment which can sleep up to 10 in the summer months. An eco build with Gold Star eco-accreditation it is a unique and homely place to relax. Set well back from the road is is only a three minute walk across the grass to the beach.
There are tatty old Persian rugs, bits of old boat, far too many books and no TV. As a concession to the modern world it has great WiFi, is spotlessly clean, people seem to love it - as it's in paradise.
The big bedroom sleeps four, in two bunk beds and a comfy kingsize double that can divide into two singles.
A cosy little apartment at the north end of Iona. it’s a lovely place to relax, either on a gentle summers evening or as winter gales lash the island. The last building on the island (next stop Staffa) it is well set back from the road and only a three minute walk across the machair to the Sandy beach. Perfect if you are one of the new hardy breed of sea swimmers! The Snug is south facing and looks out onto its own little garden and bench.
Comprising a comfortable and well equipped kitchen (with space to sit around in Lloyd Loom chairs with a good book and cup of coffee) it has a shower room and w.c. and a double bedroom with a kingsize bed which can divide into two singles. A small hall completes things, with a Windsor chair and an ever growing collection of books and painting.
The Studio is a little apartment but with a big heart. It oozes character with old rugs, big armchairs and a headboard for the bed is up-cycled from an old French cottage door. Big windows look out over the machair to the Hebridean sea. The sandy beach is a three minute barefoot wander across the grass.
In true studio style the kingsize bed, armchairs, breakfast bar and kitchen have been shoe-horned into the one room. Next door is a shower room and w.c.
Under the same roof as the Snug and the Sea Room it is a perfect spot to relax and let the stress of everyday life seep away.
